Socks!!!
Hi! I decided that since it's getting colder, my dolls needed some new socks. (They're both modeled by Samantha) I knit these up the other day, and finally uploaded some pictures. Comment on which pair is your favorite!

Back to school!
While taking this picture, I happened to wonder aloud about why Josefina was wearing overalls and a long sleeved shirt, in 90 degree weather. "Well." she said looking at me pointedly. "I wouldn't have to if we weren't out of shoes and socks" (you can't see, but she is barefoot) I would've just ignored this, I mean it's not my fault we're out of footwear. Then she said, "Why look at Kaya! She only has socks! Samantha and Kirsten both have shoes! Playing favortites are we??" What was that supposed to mean, I wondered.
I found out. "Hey!" Josefina complained. "Why don't you knit us neat things like Samantha's cool vest, or Kirsten's sweater??" I tried to explain. "I would've let one of you wear it, but Samantha was already wearing that shirt, and the vest just screams for a collared shirt, and the only other one is yellow plaid, which looks nasty with burgundy, and.."
"Yeah." she said. "Who did you take pictures of a couple of weeks ago?" "Samantha and Kirsten.." I began. "You see? It must be their hair."
"That's not it at all, a couple of weeks ago Kaya was in her pajamas, and I was measuring your foot for a sock, "
"You're getting knit socks?!" The other three demanded.
Oh no....

Knitting!!
Kirsten: Hey Samantha! I've got something for you, knitting needles!
Samantha: Oh neat! Thanks!
Samantha:...Sooooo, where do the batteries go?
Kirsten: Batteries? You don't use batteries, here, let me teach you.
Kirsten: You see Samantha? It's really that easy.
Samantha: Yeah, I think I'm really getting the hang of it...
Coconut: Bark!
Samantha: AAAAH!
Kirsten: Coconut! Get over here!
Kirsten: Coconut! Give it back!

Little red riding hood
I made the cape from a pattern I found on Ravelry. The wolf is my brothers Webkinz. Now, our feature presentation!
Little red riding hood: Grandma... you don't look well today.
"Grandma": That's because...
Wolf: I'm not Grandma! I'm actually a door to door encyclopedia salesman.
Little red riding hood: EEK! Then.... W-wheres Grandma?? You didn't...!
Wolf: No, I didn't. She's out playing Bridge.
Little red riding hood:Oh. Well, stay back! I don't want any encyclopedias.....
Little red riding hood: I'll take a dozen.
Wolf: Okay, sign right here on the dotted line...

Bird cage!
Hello! I made this bird cage for my dollhouse a couple of days ago. I am working on a stand for it, but it's not done yet. The cage bars are made out of wire, and the bottom of the cage is foam. I made the bird bird out of a bead, its beak out of foam, and the perch that it stands on is a piece of packaging from a toy of my sisters.
I hope you like it!

New Chair
Hello!
I made this chair just a couple of days ago. I actually made two, and now they both are in the kitchen of my dollhouse. It was made with a kind of dowel rods with pointed ends, and the seat is made out of two layers of felt, the fabric on top, and cardboard. I also used tacky glue. I really enjoy making these, but they take a lot of patience. They are not half as fragile as the toothpick chairs. (And they are taller.)

Chair
This is a chair that I made for my dollhouse out of toothpicks. I really enjoy using toothpicks, because, they're highly available, and you don't need any tools to cut them, you just snap them in half. (Or whatever size.) The downside is that toothpicks snap easily, so the chairs are very fragile. So far I have made, two of these chairs, two narrow tables, and one wide table. I also like craft-sticks.(popsicle sticks) I have made a shed, a bookshelf, and the bases for the beds that I showed previously.

Dollhouse Furniture #1
Hello! This is the doll that I made for myself, and a bed that I made as well. It is made from my own patterns, craft sticks, and Elmer's glue. I made the pillows out of small pieces of fabrics, and the mattress out of felt. The picture was shot in my dollhouse, and I photo-shopped the window. I really love making furniture, and I hope you enjoy the next series of photos as much as I do!

New dolls!!
Well, not exactly. Actually, these were Christmas presents for family members. The red headed one is my mom's. Link was for my older brother. The one with pink-hair is for my younger sister. The one with black-hair is my youngest sister's. The business guy is my dad's, and the blond one is mine. I made Link's and the business guy's clothes, my mom made two of the outfits, one kelly dress, and the one with pink hair's dress is a calico critters. Soon, I am going to post pictures of some miniature furniture that I made from my own patterns.
